Glenn Smith, DVM
Dr. Smith has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 20 years. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1988, and is a member of the AVMA as well as FVMA. His extensive experience in all facets of pet care including emergency/ critical care, surgery, and diagnostic medicine allows for the best possible care for your pet. Dr. Smith's calm and gentle touch will put the most nervous pet at ease.

Josie, Vet Technician
Josie is outgoing, friendly, and loves animals. She has over 15 years experience working in veterinary medicine. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician- she received her degree at St. Petersburg College. Josie is trained to draw blood, give injections, take x-rays and perform dental cleanings under Dr. Smith's supervision. Josie shares her home with her Husky mix Clancy.

Nicole, Vet Assistant
Nicole can answer many of your questions about animal health. Nicole is very experienced in assisting the doctor with your pet as well as drawing blood, getting samples, and caring for your pet while he is here in the hospital. Nicole lives with her two terrier mixes Electra and Baxter, and her four cats Rogue, Mystique, Baby Kitty, and Gizmo.

Melissa , Reception
Melissa is our receptionists here, and if you call you are sure to hear her voice on the other end. If she is unsure of what you need, don't worry she will find out. She lives at home with her terrier mix Honey, her two cats Bubba and Lydia and a menagerie of small animals that include guinea pigs, rats, gerbils, and mice.

Mary, Veterinary Asst.
Mary has extensive experience working with small animals. You will often see her in the exam room assisting the doctor. She lives at home with her 6-year old pug Nelly, her 8-year old, 3-legged Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and her 2-year old cat Harley Boo.

Julie, Veterinary Asst & Kennel Asst.
Julie is currently the newest member to our team. She comes to us with extensive small animal experience. She has been a foster mom for kittens and small animals for three years and graduated from the Veterinary Technology Program at Saint Petersburg College in July 2007. She is a Certified Dog Obedience Trainer with two years experience in puppy training. She is a member of Pet Care Services Association and is a certified Pet Care Technician through the organization. She has also volunteered at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium for the past two years. You will see her assisting the doctor while examining your pet and she will also be taking care of your pet if they are boarding or being hospitalized. She lives at home with her 3-year old orange tabby Milo.
